In 11/01, I fell, dislocated my ldet foot, and broke both bones in my left leg. There are nine screws, one rod, and a lag bolt holding my heel on. The only shoe I can wear is Birkenstock. I have one pair that had to be cut down around the ankle to allow for the swelling. The past 11/02, I fould out I had broken my neck in the same accident. After four screws, a metal plate, and harvested bone, I'm still wearing the Birkies. Nothing else works. My orthopod thinks I'm nuts. Wait til he breaks something.
