I have many pairs of Birki sandals and LOVE them. I live in them all year round, so when I needed new shoes for work, I was excited to order these. Unfortunately, the arch support doesn't line up with my arch. It feels very weird. It's not that the shoe is too big or small. My foot fits in the shoe, but the arch support is in the wrong place. Very strange as all of my other Birkis are wonderful.

I bought my first pair of Birks when I was an exchange student in Austria in 94--a pair of milanos--I have CMT and buying shoes is really hard--sandals esp.! I can't believe how comfortable they are--I have about 3 different pairs now, and they're a lot cheaper than the orthotics I bought and can't even wear now!! I highly recommend them!
