I own many pairs of Birkenstock and Papillio. I started wearing them a few years ago due to plantar fascitis. They are great.....comfortable and extremely supportive. In addition they are very stylish. The Gizeh is one of the styles I like the most and find extremely comfortable. The design of the peacock is so pretty too. Birkenstock Central also ships extremely fast and their communication is excellent.

i love all the gizeh sandals and wear them nearly year round (except when there's more than an inch of snow-which is rare). just like going barefoot (they conform to your own foot) except i can walk on rocks with them on! EVERY time i am seen in public someone will comment on my "cute" shoes (but then that happens with ALL my gizeh sandals-every time i'm out-really)! i think these sandals tho are called "blooming" tho rather than "booming". super cute pattern-most of my others are solid colors but i couldn't resist this one especially when it was on sale. great shoes, all the way around-my first gizehs lasted me 14 years (of course the last couple were "yard" shoes for gardening but it took a lot to completely wreck them before i had to trash them finally-so sad but they sure didn't owe me anything after nearly year round wear! wish they'd make that denim pattern again!
