I was diagnosed with heel spurs & plantar fascitis. I was fitted with orthotics, which helped some but they limited me to lace up shoes only. I was put on oral medicine for the pain too. I had heard of Birkenstocks & thought I'd give them a try. My first pair was the Arizona sandal. I couldn't believe the comfort & support to my arches. My Bostons have been resoled 3 times & are the best. I also love the Tatami line with the higher arch. I am on my feet 6-7 hrs. per day on concrete & the only way I can do this is by wearing my Birks! I recommend them to any & all!
