I was a memeber of a dance/drill team in college, and we performed routines similar to the famous Radio City Music Hall Rockettes - those high kicks!!! Now in my mid-40's, I'm suffering from those years as a dancer with many serious problems with my feet - too many to name. A few years ago, my orthopedic prescribed orthotics which I wore almost 2 years, but they never helped very much and were very expensive. Last summer when he was preparing to give me another prescription for orthotics, I stopped him and informed him that since it was summer, I would not wear them. My kids are swimmers and I spend most summers around a pool/deck. He then recommended that I buy a pair of Birkenstocks. I did and the rest is history. I now own 5 pair with plans to buy some clogs soon. As for the problems with my feet - - I couldn't even tell which foot was injured at the time. It was miraculous!!! It's also a pleasure doing business with Birkenstock, as they're accurate and fast with the orders, prices are great on the internet and their return policies are the best around (the only reason I've returned any was to get the correct size for my children).
