I WISH THE SHOES WERE MORE NARROW IN THE STRAPS. I ALWAYS HAVE TO GET ADDITIONAL HOLES PUNCHED. BUT OTHER THAN THAT...THIS TYPE OF SHOE IS PERFECT.I HATE TO TAKE THEM OFF AT THE END OF THE NIGHT.

I have worn Birkenstocks exclusively for years. Life is too short to have my feet hurt. Even when my employer criticized me shoes I held steadfast to my Birkies. I believe if I pay this much money for a pair of shoes, (and worth every cent) you can wear them any where. The complaint I hear is "they don't look professional." They need to change their attitudes not my shoes. It is my work that counts, not my shoes.

I accidentally came across Birkenstock shoes through my daughter. In Orlando, Fl. we found a Birkenstock Shoe Store. I bought a pair and was caught with an addiction to these shoes. :D I will never wear another shoe unless it is Birkenstock. I have hammer toes on my left foot and the arch is falling. I have a lot of pain. My Birkenstock shoe stopped all the pain and relieved the problem. A Podiatrist could not help with the pain but a shoe solved the pain problem.
