Investing in comfort has proven to be very rewording for me. Eleven years ago, a recent college graduate and mother of two small boys, spending money on myself didn’t happen very often. I have since, worn my Birkenstocks everywhere. The soles are thinning and straps have been synched tighter and tighter every year, still, I choose them over any of my other shoes. My feet get real warm in shoes. I prefer an open shoe. When not wearing my sandals, I’m usually bare foot, (Wisconsin weather permitting). Recently I really messed up my foot and was given the option of wearing a Funky Blue Velcro boot/shoe or my sandals. Hands down, the Granada’s are my support shoes of choice.
