I have many pairs of Birkenstocks and this is the first pair I have not been happy with. I have back problems and cannot bend down to put on shoes. I am not able to slip my foot into there shoes easily, it's like there isn't enough room. It seems like the toe part isn't high enough.

For one whole year I went to a podiatrist concerning my plantar faciatis. I tried everything from taping my arch, special orthodics, medication, cortisone shots and my last resort was a cast on my foot to my knee. Nothing they tried worked. All this time my dear sister( who works in a local hospital) kept telling me about Birks!
