Buying online is chancy, but I was desperate for a new pair of closed toes and heels Birkies. Old ones were cracking - after 20 years! Did not get the finish I thought I would, but my shoe repair guy "turned them into leather" from the suede-like finish that got water-spotted way too easily. And I had to guess at the size, and got it (close anyway) after two tries. My feet are happy and I get lots of positive comments.

These are GREAT shoes for anyone who stands up ALL day! I bought another brand to wear to work that I thought were comfortable in the store but.. by the end of the day my feet were aching me. So I went and bought these birkenstocks and I haven't had a problem since. I stand up anywhere from 5 to 8 hours straight. Love these!!!
